Hospitality

And Jesus said to them “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.”
(Mark 6: 31)
The community offers hospitality to those who are seeking quiet and a place for recollection and contemplation.
Space is offered to guests so they may spend time alone with God, in silence and solitude following in the footsteps of Jesus who often withdrew from others to spend time alone with his Father.
Guests are welcome to join the sisters in their Daily Office and Eucharist.
The garden offers a pleasant place to sit and quietly enjoy God’s creation. There are lovely estuary walks nearby, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Humber Bridge.
RESIDENTIAL HOSPITALITY
There are two single bedrooms available in the Lodge, a separate building in the garden, close to the main house.
The Lodge has a shared bathroom, kitchen and small sitting area.
Guests usually join the sisters for all meals except breakfast or can self-cater by arrangement.
While staying guests are warmly invited to join with the sisters at Daily Office and at the Eucharist.

DAY HOSPITALITY
There are two rooms available in the main house and two rooms in the lodge (if not in use by residential guests).
Day guests are welcome to join with the sisters at Midday Office and the Eucharist that follows.
Day guests can bring a packed lunch or request a midday meal with the sisters which is served immediately following the Eucharist.

We do not charge for the use of our rooms but ask for a suggested donation towards our running costs.
Day guests - £10 without a midday meal, £15 with a midday meal.
Residential guests – a suggested donation of £35 for a 24-hour period.
